Our surveyors can carry out a moisture check as standard practice to our customers when they place an order with ourselves for installation of hygienic wall coverings.This ensures that products are installed within the manufacturers requirements.
It is recommended that a moisture check is carried out, if moisture is present in the substrate when the hygienic cladding is being fitted, this can lead to potential failures.
Protimeter
The meter can take a number of different readings and we can provide a printout of the results.
Equipment
We use high quality Protimeter moisture meters which are capable of determining the moisture content within the walls , this can be a non-destructive test and can sense through existing coverings. We can then carry out further tests to establish the full extent of the dampness levels within the wall
