HygienaClad have been installing hygienic wall cladding in many different environments for many years, primarily within the healthcare and food preparation industry.

The golf club had an outdated kitchen that their members felt did not fit the heritage of the club. Hygienaclad worked directly with the club and its chef to undertake a complete refurbuishment of the walls and floors. After the works were completed the kitchen staff stated "it was now a pleasure to clean the kitchen"

Outdated Kitchen

Canons Brook Golf Course was established in 1962 and was originally in the Grade II listed barn that still sits on the site, as the golf club has expanded a number of additional buildings have been added including a dedicated kitchen and pot wash area to serve the clubs members and functions. When the kitchen was added it was tiled with the standard 100mm white tiles, which through the years had become cracked and unservicable so a new finish was required.

Flooring

The existing floor was fitted with vinyl but was in poor condition and had a number of gullies that were not fit for purpose and did not contain the vinyl. Hygienaclad removed all the existing gullies, rebricked the external walls, filled in the floor and replaced the remaining gullies with high quality Wade gullies and roding points, which are designed to take vinyl flooring, the subfloor was latexed and fitted with Altro safety flooring coved up the wall to the cladding.

Hygienaclad installed thier HCD standard white range integrated with 1.2mm 304 grade stainless steel to the cookline, providing a bright cleanable kitchen.
The existing wall to floor junction was a tiled skirting which prevented good cleaning at the junction, the tiled skirting was removed and made good so that vinyl could be coved up the wall to the cladding.
